.: HSBC Belas Artes :.

.: Granny's 1st time :.

So, my granny is 87 years old and
she's never been to a beauty parlour.
... she's always cut and polished her own nails,
trimmed, cut and died her own hair ...
and, of course ... make-up ... 1000000% by herself.
Yes, she's a very vain woman, but honestly her nails ...
were desperately screaming for help! @.@

Ever since we've been living together, I tried convincing her
to come with me to get her nails done ...
unsuccessful for the past 4 years!! -.-"
I really don't really know what got into her this time,
but she finally gave into my lure ... and we went together!
It's a mark in her history .. and mine! ^^
So I snapped a few shots for the memories' sake.
... Of course she had to say that she didn't like it ...
... it wasn't her 'thing' ...
... and she didn't want to put on any nail polish ...
ANYWAYS, she walked out of there all happy!

Granny is travelling for the next two months to KO, CND, and the US.
As she always says ... "It's the last time." Hahaha ...
(She's used this excuse for the last 4 times she travelled!!)
I hope she has a good time and
that she thinks of me whenever she looks at her nails. ^^

Vó, a senhora é muito chata, mas te amo!
Feliz dia das mães!!

PUMA says the new packaging and distribution system
will reduce the paper used for shoeboxes by 65%
and carbon emissions by 10,000 tons per year.
It plans to make the remaining packaging materials
fully sustainable by 2015.

The major objectives PUMA has set out to achieve in this period include:
• 25% reduction of CO2, energy, water and waste in PUMA offices,
stores, warehouses and direct supplier factories.
• Paperless office policy through a 75% reduction and
offsetting initiatives for the remaining paper usage such as tree planting initiatives.
• 25% CO2 reduction through more efficient product transport solutions
by our logistic partners.
• Begin collaborating with our strategic suppliers and
logistic service providers to offset their own footprints in the long-term.
• Introduction of the PUMA Sustainability-Index (S-Index) standard
that serves as a benchmark for sustainable products and
communicates the products’ sustainable features to consumers.
• 50% of PUMA’s international collections will be manufactured
according to the PUMA S-Index standard by 2015,
using sustainable materials such as organic cotton,
Cotton Made in Africa or recycled polyester
as well as applying best practice production processes.
